These trucks all have autos behind them too. Ive googled the engines and read a lot already but most people only feel the need to share their bad situations, not always their good ones. Thanks Because of this Id almost prefer a gas engine for this truck but having a super hard time finding one like that. Ths truck wont be getting used that much (maybe 2 days a week) but its something I need to run when I need it so really looking for great reliability and low maintenance.

It seems most of these trucks have the inline 6 7.2L Cat 3126 and a few have the CAT 3116.Im not at all familiar withh these engines and was looking for some insight ,both good and bad on them. Have found a few late 90's/early 2000's trucks that have 25,ooo # gvwr. Im not a ford or International fan so im looking at what ive always loved, GM trucks speciifically the 1990-2002 Kodiak/topkick trucks like the 6500 series. Looking at buying a 2nd truck for my business and need something with more weight payload than my current 1994 Isuzu NQR Diesel which has a gvwr of only 18000.
